Peace Church started in 2001. We belong to the EPC (Evangelical Presbyterian Church, www.epc.org ) , whose motto is “In Essentials, Unity. In Non-Essentials, Liberty. In All Things, Charity. “ We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and our messages are biblically-based and applicable to everyday life. We have a friendly, casual atmosphere, a blend of contemporary and traditional worship, and a special emphasis upon prayer and equipping our members to reach others with the message of God’s love. Our pastor, Dr. James Banks, is a down to earth guy with a heart for prayer and a special interest in church history. His first book, The Lost Art of Praying Together(www.LostArtofPrayer.com ) has been a blessing to those seeking to learn to pray together. His second book, Prayers for Prodigals will be released in March. His hobbies are bee keeping and running diesel cars on used vegetable oil!
